"Dear Dr Goldfarb: The Spanish program at the University of San Marcos was an amazing experience. I learned much taking lesson from the professor and the one on one interaction was extremely helpful. The program provided ample time to the many aspects of Lima, the Limenos, the museums, the downtown area, the sites/ruins which surrounded the Lima area, and ample time to get to know your host family and talk to others. Although I wanted to see Cuzco, the program was excellent. The head of the program, Dr Goldfarb, was extremely friendly, professional and patient. I recommmend this program to all! Thanks Dr Goldfarb. Peace."

"I spent five weeks in Peru with the Spanish Program at the UNMSM. I had individual classes tailored to my interests adn language ability, and was learning about the history and culture of the country as well.  The experience of living in Peru, of walking the streets and seeing the rich heritage of cultures in every museum and work of art, was an amazing one. In addition, I spent time in a hospital affiliated with the SM medical school, where I was introduced to the Peruvian medical system and its particulars.  As I study Medicine in the States, this was an invaluable opportunity to expand my understanding of both the medical world as well as that of the patients. The end of my stay in Peru was crowned with a trip to Cuzco, Machu Picchu, and Lake Titicaca - a spectacular journey through the Land of the Incas.  I returned home with a better Spanish, an appreciation for the present circumstances in Peru, and an enchantment with the country's past."
