I had individual classes tailored to my interests adn language ability, and was learning about the history and culture of the country as well. The experience of living in Peru, of walking the streets and seeing the rich heritage of cultures in every museum and work of art, was an amazing one. In addition, I spent time in a hospital affiliated with the SM medical school, where I was introduced to the Peruvian medical system and its particulars.
